Our Team
Eddy Sánchez, MPA. Senior Consultant – Strategic Planning, Data Analysis, Statistics, Legislative Affairs Mr. Sánchez is one of the few state licensed planners in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. However, his academic and work experience have provided him with a unique ability to combine his legislative, business and analytical backgrounds in order to serve as a value added member of any project in the insurance, health care and financial services fields. Mr. Sánchez is a Strategic Planner who in the last five years worked implementing public policy for the benefit of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Sánchez has proven his effectiveness in providing vision and advice to accelerate the development of the organizations he has worked for or counseled. His focus on the data analysis to provide alternatives for the solution of problems has proven to be a priceless commodity. His diverse background includes 14 years of experience in government at both the legislative and agency level and as consultant for the private sector. Aside from working in the private sector, Mr. Sánchez has extensive experience working in the legislative and executive branches of the government of Puerto Rico. He worked for 8 years in the Legislative Services office of the Senate of Puerto Rico providing analysis of the economic effects of legislation and the research and writing of planning reports and tax legislation. Mr. Sánchez was responsible for the preparation of more than 200 bills and 50 studies on economic impact. In addition, he was the Executive Director of the Judiciary Commission of the Senate of Puerto Rico for 4 years. Prior to re-joining the private sector, Mr. Sánchez had a 5 year tenure at the Puerto Rico department of Insurance where he occupied various positions including Director of the Department’s Statistics Unit and acted as Project Manager for the Revision of the Code of Insurance of Puerto Rico. Mr. Sánchez holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus and Master’s Degree in Planning from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. |
