Mr. Arvelo is a well-seasoned insurance and management consulting executive with well over 35 years of experience in various aspects of the industry. He has an extensive accounting, actuarial, systems, marketing and management background in all aspects of administration of life and health insurer operations and TPA operations. Mr. Arvelo is currently dividing his time between consulting through R&R, executing COO and CFO responsibilities for various business ventures in the healthcare, wellness and insurance fields, as well as teaching engagements as adjunct faculty in the UNE School of Business Administration.

Mr. Arvelo has held various high level positions in the insurance industry including: President of the Board of Directors and CEO of Trans Oceanic Life Insurance Company (TOLIC), a multinational insurer with operations in Puerto Rico and Latin America; President of Red Médica Internacional (“International Medical Network”), a medical network providing healthcare services to subscribers in the British Virgin Islands through a member of the Lloyd’s of London syndicate; Vicepresident of the management consulting firm Global Business Advisors.

Mr. Arvelo holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, a Masters Degree in Administration and Supervision (MA) from the University of Puerto Rico’s Graduate School of Education, and a Master’s In Business Administration (MBA) with a dual concentration in Marketing and Industrial Relations from the Interamerican University in Puerto Rico
