Ms. Rivera is a seasoned marketing and Medicare Advantage professional having held positions through all levels of responsibility, including being Director of Medicare Advantage for a Puerto Rico health insurer and Director of Marketing for a Puerto Rico Medicare Advantage Health Plan. Her experience has permitted her to develop an insider’s view of how to build the business from the ground-up, including provider network building, product design and preparation and submission of bids to the federal government. She has successfully worked with CMS’s bid process for product development in the Medicare Advantage market. In addition, Ms. Rivera has extensive experience in developing telemarketing operations for various insurers, including the development and roll-out of successful customer retention campaigns.

Ms. Rivera possesses a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Interamerican University in Puerto Rico.
